Can anyone tell me (roughly), what amount of shake and trim would be preferred when using five gallon bags, in order to get a decent amount of hash (10 to 20 grams).
what? just fill it up until it looks resonably full, and shake it up for a long ass time
do it a couple of times with the same material until you get big time diminishing returns, then you continue with the rest of your trim/shake
you make it sound like you're going to special order a specific amount of trim

No I am a very small time grower and I wanted to give it a go, making bubble hash that is, and I didn't want to waste my time for just a few grams of hash. So I just assumed maybe someone here has recently or makes bubble hash and might know how much it takes to make it worth the wild to make.
run a qp at a time if you want 10+ grams yield. i dont weigh my bubble hash very often but if i remember right the yield is like ~3 grams per ounce with good material. also, mix by hand with a wooden spoon. dont use a drill or an electric mixer, just keep it cold(more ice the better) and the dryer the trim is when it goes in the more gentle you want to be agitating it. mix for about 8-15 minutes the first run of the material and then let it sit for 5 minutes then strain with the 220 bag. also, run your material twice. the first time will produce your higher quality
oh and spread the hash out as much as you can on parchment paper or glass and keep it cool to let it dry
there is a lot of the stuff i wish someone would have told me when i started making bubble.
