ok I just got my first set of bags an 8 bags 5gal system sweet deal 280$ taxes in
plus the guy threw in some pipes

so Im just do a commecial grade right now the 220 and the 25 bags but how many times should you reuse the same plant matter befor discarting befor your just gettin total crap
 
Yopu can re-use it atleast 3times, I know that some of the Guru growers will re-use it up to 6 times...pretty much till your not getting anything else. Whats the reasoning behind just using the 220? Why not use the 8 bag set-up you just purchased. Which method of cold water bubble are you going to do?
 
well right now im going for quantity not quality teh 220 bag is just a sifter bags to remove the large stuff then I use teh 25 bag to collect the resins cool nice to knwo that you can just keep goin to get as much as possible thanks
 
Just to let you know the best hashish comes from the 70 micron level. If you invest in an Aqua Labs zipper bag thats 220 microns it would catch all the big stuff, and let you catch the rest. You are going to save the water from each cycle of cold water right?
 
There s not a lot of info on this site about using these bags.
Do you actually save the water between each batch of leaves and reuse the leaves several times? Do you not get all the trics out the first time around?
 
so far I have used the same water and over and over but im doin a cross of the gumby and bubble bag hash method I put my shake,leaves,bud what ever in the 220 bags then have the 25 micron under niether I then run ice and so on thru drain the 220 then pull up the 25 bag and collect I then did the same pass again same water leaves what not and I then let the water site for 4 hours drain untill I got to the silt layer and collected in a glass jar let sit again and collect final layer with chesse cloth
 
Sounds like you've got extra leaves, this is off topic, Is an oz. per plant indoors a low estimate or am I just greedy? Dried buds of coarse.
 
Holy off topic batman! What type of plant, sativa, or indica? An O is kinda low per plant depending on many different factors, but with some strains can get a qp dried or more. Sativa in HUGE commercial grows (10ft+ plants) have harvested 2lbs per plant. There is a kind strain called Snowdog that if you veg it for a month, it is regular to get a qp. dried per plant. But keep that O as a goal, and if you get 2O you will be pleasantly surprised...or not now, sorry ruined christmas early lol.

To the O.P., the point of having 8 bags is to catch all the different grades of hash instead of having a lot of "25 grade" of hashish. The 220 will grab everything you don't want in your hashish, while from 180 down to 70 each grade of hash will get better, hashish in the 70 micro level will be the best because most of the goodies will collect here, the small gland heads will catch in the lower screens. The color will very from grade to to grade of hashish.
 
ok I did a 3rd press of hash still come good but gettin really dark any ways what should you do to press/finish the hash off mine is 3 days on a paper towel and still damp
 
It'll keep getting darker the more cycles. Try putting it on pieces of cardboard, it can suck up more water from the hash than the paper towels. Also they make screens for drying hashish, but cardboard works quite well. Label the pieces of cardboard with which grade & cycle the hash came from. This will allow you to sample, and deside which is better, and for if you are exchanging for a legal green.
 
use the 125 in place of the 220. the 125 and up catch leaf matter. then use the 25 to catch all the trichs.
 
Making Bubble Hash with your Bubble Bags

If you don't want to buy the drying screen you can make a sandwich of the hash. Put a piece of cardboard on the table, place 1/2 a paper towel(s)(1-2 paper towels depending on how moist the hash is) on this cardboard, place the hash on the paper towel, then fold the paper towel(s) over the hash, then place another cardboard piece of equal size on top of the paper towels(s), then apply slight pressure to slightly press moisture from the hashish.

your sealing moisture inside your patty. you have to crumble it and let it dry. if you put a chunk of bubble hash in a sealed bag or container and it sweats at all, it's NOT dry. sweat causes mold, mold is BAD. :leaf:
 
cool thanks guys your really helping me what would you say is the best way to clean a press better to go with alcohol or hot water
