Great article - but I have a follow up question. What bag produces the best hash? I would think it would be the one with the smallest holes, but I also thought I read somewhere that that is not the case. A mature indica might have larger resin glands that gets filtered out at a different level. Is there a way to tell by just comparing your lumps of hash from the various size bags. Also, can you throw the lesser lumps in with the plant material and any extra trimmings you have to make butter?
I'm not sure what size exactly, but I believe it's somewhere in the middle produces the best smoke. IIRC the smallest holes only let mini trichomes through and the larger holes let some impurities through. Maybe fdd would be the one to ask about that!
Even the lowest quality hash would be far too good to waste on butter, IMHO anyway!
