Bubble Bucket with Water Chiller Question

Im setting up a single bubble bucket with a water chiller that requires a pump that I will use externally..I thought about using a reservoir bucket but since I need to move it from inside the tent to outside I think a single/no reservoir would be better?

Anyhow the feed line to the pump will be half inch on the lower part of the bucket and the return line from the cooler, should that be above water level setup as a waterfall with a hal finch elbow aiming down? Is a airpump still required?

I agree on using either an external res or some kind of top off tank on a float valve in the bucket or something.
The less you have to open that lid the better. Itll also get increasingly difficult to get into it as the plant gets bigger and youll have to fill it more often.
Theyve slowed down a lot now, but during my flower stretch I had 9 plants drink nearly 40 gallons in like 4 days.

I read another thread where they said need recirculation but that was with multiple buckets to equalize ph and nutrients

If i use 2 buckets with a 1 inch flex tubing to connect them together on the bottom and NOT use the chiller outlet to make a waterfall into the grow bucket would that work?

Basically my chiller would be working with my reservoir only while my grow bucket will be much easier to move with just one 1 inch tube on the bottom..Maybe I could temp run a waterfall pump when doing nutrients and ph?

The reason I dont do a typical system would be because I flower outdoors but during veg my soil plants go in my tent at night and they come outdoors during the daytime... I couldnt run a light outdoors else the rain would destroy it and my neighbors wil see all the light...
