Browning spot on end of leaf. **PICS**

So I have two plants, they are about 4 days apart in age. The oldest one was put under 2 CFL's equaling to 3200 Lumens on Friday, and ever since, the tip of one of the leaves slowly but surely are turning like a brown color. I really don't think its burnt, but what else could it be *99% sure*. Also, it seems to be stunted, could this be from the new lights, because as far as progress wise, the older one is ahead; but for height, the younger one is much taller already. Is this to much light too soon? The oldest one is a week and 1 day old as of today. +Rep given, TIA.

First pic is the youngster. The second is a close up of the browning spot, and the third a side shot of the oldest.

What are your temps in the grow room? Also that soil looks a little dry for seedlings. Spray around the base with a spray bottle to get the immediate area around the plant wet. Right now that plant needs water more than anything and if the temps are a little warm they need water even more.

The browning is still progressing. I moved the light even further away and its still spreading. Twilight zone of an underground marijuana operation lol.

IMAG0443.jpgAs you can see, the browning is still occurring, and growth is still stunted.

IMAG0445.jpg Look how much this one has grown in 20 hours.

Now look at the youngster, not even 24 hours later. Like tripled in size, yet the older one is still the same size, while her leaves turn brown, whats going on RIU.

I can see that the new leaves are coming in. They have grown quite a bit since the original picture you posted. It doesn't appear to be anything too serious. Keep an eye on it but it doesn't look like that big of a deal. The seedling is probably just having a hard time getting enough water with it's undeveloped root system. Or the root could have found a spot in the soil with highly concentrated nutrient which caused burn... Really hard to tell what a tiny little spot is but I don't think it's too serious.

As for the difference in growth. They are different plants with different genetics. They are always going to have different growth patterns. One could be male and the other female. Or one may have been a little stressed. Or just a plain difference in genetics.

Your baby has good color and is still growing. I wouldn't worry about it too much. Spray em regularly and keep that humidity up for a few more days and they'll be fine.

Yes it is to early, your plant is fert burned to much in the soil for the little guy. Just water and it should be fine. If your feeding stop it, it's too soon.
Thanks. I think that's my problem.. The whole transition from seedling to vegging is a blur to me. Nobody really describes it in depth. After I take it out of the humidity dome, how long is it till I start vegging and how do I maintain it until then.
