Browning Bottom Stem

Hey guys, im growing a couple plants in my aerogarden deluxe and having a problem. On my biggest plant the bottom of the stem is brown with white stuff peeling off. But from the first set of side stems and up it is perfect and healthy green. Not too worried but a little curious as to what the problem is. Any suggestions?

Definitely a fungus. Get yourself some mold/fungus inhibitor else you run the risk of it spreading to your other plants. You can also try wiping the affected area down with hydrogen peroxide.
