Setup:
600 w
Ebb and flow
watering cycle: 5 minutes every second hour
Canna Aqua nutrients

As you can see in the pictures brown spots are forming in the middle and on the edges on the leafs. Also a purple shifting is occurring on the new top leafs.

I have had some problems keeping PH on same lvl, adjusting it every third hour or so. Im using Leca not suited for hydroponics. Could it be as simple as that? anyway, ive changed solutions twice and have given them correct ph for two weeks but it always continue to go up. Trying to keep it between 5.4 and 6.2 but then it goes back up to 7ish again.

Any input is appriciated. thank you.

Looks to be deficient in a bunch of things. You must keep ph in check as often as you can. Are you feeding?

thx for answering. Yes they are being checked but the PH is always rising.. I think its the leca medium to blame. But one cant be certain. Its quite annoying and i dont have an EC meter. It probably would show high values im afraid.

Nutrient feeding is according to schedule..

I agree, it's probably the ph that's the problem. You have to stabilize it somehow, change the medium if you have to.

If it goes up set it down to 4.5 and see if it rises accordingly
