Brown spots and curling on fan leaves

Hi all,

I'm near harvest and one of my precious is a bit unwell. It's a Barney's Flower Power Automatic (anti-auto readers save your rants to someone else :blsmoke:) and it has been fed, like my other 3 babies (white dwarf auto, reg orange bud and reg rocklock), with Formula Flora feeding kit (start, grow, bloom and boost). Everything was going groovy until I started noticing these brown spots all over most of the fan leaves and only on the FP. I couldn't find enough pics around to accurately diagnose the problem. could it be over nutes? over watering? temp? nute lock? Water PH is 7 and goes to 6.2 after adding nutes, so I believe it shoud be fine. Anyway, here are a few pics. Thanks buds

The first photo looks like it may be a Mg deficiency due to the interveinal yellowing and the rust look on the leaves from the 2nd photo. Just mix 2 tsp of epsom salt into a gallon of water and use that. It should work.

No problem man, just give it a few days after you use it and see if the problem stops or persists and let me know the outcome.

Whats the PH of your runoff ?

I would say lockout at a guess if you have been feeding it.

You have lime green new growth? If so I would say definite Mg deficiency.
Feed with epsom salt to prevent further damage, if so.

If natural, wouldn't it be yellow though mouse and not looking like a burn? But ganja, mouse is right. If you're that close to chop then just water.

I would chase the deficiency if it was further away from the chop but as soon as he said 10-14 days its all smooth sailing ;)

Agreed. I didn't know how far chop was until he mentioned it to you.

The strange thing is that it only started manifesting it in the last week or so. could it be chlorosis? my main worry is fearing the buds won't bulk up because of this "retardation". I never grew Flower Power before so i don't really know what to expect, but if I compare it with the white dwarf, which is roughly at the same stage, the WD is probably twice as fat.

I've never grew Flower Power either. It is definitely not chlorosis. Chlorosis is like a real bad case of a Nitrogen deficiency. Stems and petioles will turn purple [really can't go by that due to purple strains] and the leaves will yellow and die off. The Flower Power doesn't look like Nitrogen deficiency. But also with so close to being to chop time, your plant will exhibit lack of N which is normal if you are flushing the last 2 weeks or so. The WD is a different strain from the FP, so you can't really compare the two together with weight production. I'd understand if you were comparing two FP side by side and noticed but not with another strain. Your lady will be fine, just make sure to keep ample light on her and flush when needed and what she produces is what was meant to be.
