Brown Spot on New Sprout

Hi,

This is my first attempt at growing, and a new sprout has appeared, the seed shell is almost off, but there is a nasty looking brown spot... Is there any hope for this plant? Also as the shell moves further and further off, the plant is slowly falling over. :/
