But seriously, everyones like he lost his original stock of clones, and most seeds, so down play his new versions.
But if has some genetics and some original or f2 of his gear others made.
Then if can still identify what his keepers were and find new ones ,or maybe even better versions, I'd be down to give them a much humble, thankful, appreciative grow.

Apollo is better You should keep a cindy male around, it will make for great crosses.

I wouldn't even think about buying cindy or apollo clones. The cindy/apollo meds I see in dispensaries here are clearly the weaksauce pollen chucker crosses and they've all lacked the potency of the original.

$150 isn't cheap, but like I told MrSoul yesterday... I probably made $100k over the years of that $150 pack of seeds. You'll be glad you got the real shit.

That's exactly it, I found a strain that looked to suit my needs a while back, before soul recently came back.. it was cindy, but the cindy everyone was after was the BG cut. Now that he's back he's obviously used original stock and got her back, otherwise I don't think someone with a reputation like Soul would just put it on the line with haphazard genetics. He's a legend, at least to me he is, and I'll put 100% faith in his genetics anyday, and if it's the strain I need for my conditions whether or not it's "the dankest" is not my concern. She'll be plenty sufficient as I gain more experience with her and how she grows. I believe you could grow dank autoflower big bud if you spent enough time working with it lol though I don't do autos or even fems really.

The current BG C99 is a cross of his P.75 version (male from old saved seed stock) to a clone mama of the original Princess. He has original genetics with just the Princess mom being the same. It has been crossed with her own progeny. So though real BG product it is a different line within the strain he made. As to which strain line of the C99 was best for the past. Most would say it was the P.94 version (Princess x P.88 which is the second released Cinderella 99 version) 3 version were released in the short time it was around back at the turn of the millennia. P.88, P.94 and P.97. Mr. Soul and many others claimed the P. 94 version was the most stable and seedlings looked like clones. Of the older phenos presented two types showed most. A taller more sativa looking one and a shorter and fatter tropical smelling one (more potent). I have had extensive experience with C99 and a few other BG strains back in the day. Would like to see how the new gear compares. Good luck with the new stuff. I will be watching for your reports.

My above comment about just the Princess mom being the same is true. But he does have the org Genius as well. Don't want peeps to think that Princess is all he kept. The new version of Rosetta Stone looks interesting. C99 P.75 male crossed to a Jack Herer. As to the Apollo that result also remains to be seen. The org Genius mom crossed with a TGA subcool Vortex dad. That cross throws a lot of other genes into the mix. Could be a fantastic keeper pheno in there somewhere if someone has the time and space to explore the results of f2's made from it. The other offerings just seem generic to me.
