Bros.Grimm?????

Where did you find these?

I'm a HUGE fan of Bros Grimm. Mr Soul was a huge innovator in breeding (IMO) with his cubing process. I love love love Cindy 99 and the story behind it.

i have issues with this story m8.. being an f2, i'm sure, or well, would guess it's from og bro's grimm stock, but someone had to make the f2's from f1's, and imo, that would make them not bro's grimm beans, but who ever made the f2's rather..
idk, i don't mean to shit on your parade, but the bro's grimm haven't been in the bean game for years and years, so surely, if someone did have f2's direct from them, they'd be going for crazy high prices, and not a freebie as i think you said yours are, no?
maybe i'm missing something, but yeah, i'd be willing to bet these are just f2's someone made from bro's grimm beans and aren't directly from soul and co...

You are probably right . But I'm happy to get them as a freebie if they came from F1"s it's still technically his direct lineage being worked upon but I get it , it's not directly from them . Obviously they haven't been around in nearly a decade.

and it matters. I found it slightly a bit harder to find something special in the F2 i would make myself vs what the breeder can do(if he is a special breeder). Its there but I wouldnt find it in a 5 pack

Well I emailed the man about if the F2s were from original stock or simple worked upon by someone with the F1s .! We shall see .! I'm sure someone got ahold of em and are definately working them

I've certainly been around RIU for a while, and read many many posts and threads where seekers run packs of beans looking for magic. That's cool.

My own interest is locating beans who's description matches what I like to run and burn. If something close doesn't appear in the first couple, I generally move on. Regarding c-99, I've only sampled it straight from FS, and loved 3 of the beans. I got those because I liked the hybrids I;d ran where cindy was used. Don't get me wrong - would love to have a chance to puff the original. But don't have the spaces or inclination to do pheno hunts and such. And as I think, based on matching the description, that FS is a righteous representation, that's good enough for now.

Well amos come Christmas time I'm going to cross GGG Grape Stomper OG (male) x DR greenthumb Bubba OG ( ghost cut ) female . Im going to be sharing the F1"s . Cannot wait . Maybe you'll see it around 1 day or on the shelves of the seedbanks . I think Im going to create something unique !
 
I think its everyones dream to get some real Bro Grimm genetics again. I wasn't growing or even smoking yet when they were doing their magic, but have heard the legends ever since I started. I have some female seeds C99 that I have really enjoyed, but I have no way to compare it with the original other then what I've read online. I'd love to smoke some of it with an old head that has had the original. Hell I love any chance I get to smoke with an old timer!

Especially an old timer that has seen it all come and go oover the years . Yea I like limited quantity genetics than cheap 1million seed releases that become your standard mainstream . I should start collecting packs of stuff to hold on too for some time .
