Broken up smoke vs Whole bud smoke

Piece of bud or ground up weed?

I wanted to start a thread to see how manypeople think smoking weed broken up threw a grinder is better than weed just smoked as a whole piece plucked from the bud
 
i guess i should have speccified not for joints obviously ground up is better. Just bowels dosnt matter what size or kind
 
Sometimes if its dry enough, it doesn't seem to matter either way. Placing the whole nug in the bowl and applying a small amount of pressure makes it all pulverized. If its sticky and moiste, I break it up a lil more than usual.

If you put in the whole bud less tricomes come off from your contact with your fingers and grinder, now in a grinder with a screen you get most that back, most not all, you still losse some when you touch it again to put in the bowl and some in the spaces enpetween the 2 pices of the grinder. and in the threads for the bottom chamber for uncer the screen. Dont belive me check. So by putting the whole bud in you get more thc more thc means more high
 
always ground, then i clean my coffee grinder and smoke all the crystals. I only ever smoke the bong and joints, never bowls, unless its hash............
 
I stuff nugs in my pipe. As said before you don't lose as many trichs to the grinder this way and if you pack it correctly it will burn just as well. If the bud has seeds in it I will break it up and de-seed it before it gets packed.

I disagree... it burns unevenly and I feel like I'm wasting. Plus the newer, better grinders seem to capture the large majority of crystals which i then save for months and smoke in a day.... My favorite days of the year :joint::peace:
