Broken branch Need Help!

I have a branch that broke a little bit anybody know what i should do? I propped it up so its back together ,will it heal itself? Can it get sick from the open wound?

just use some tape, I have had this problem too, and it cured itself fine. marijuana plants are resiliant lil fuckers

doesnt matter what kind of tape, you just want to hold it together and brace it so it dont happen again.
