Broad Mites? Maybe?

That it’s retaining water. But I grow in fabric smart pots. When they dry out excessively it tends to be hard dry dirt feel. That’s how I know it’s not over watering.

I’m using a home made soil mix with plenty of aeration added in to compensate for water retainment.

**Update**

I decided to let them dry out for a couple days till I was absolutely sure. (I.E. the forementioned) And gave a healthy dose of water to revigorate the soil. She seems to be doing better overall in color and growth condition but I’m still edgy.
Glad to hear they are improving. I hear what your saying about aeration but plant 3 still looks like it isn't getting enough oxygen, maybe a root rot but unlikely in soil. When a soil is well aerated, you never get that droopy look, even when you flood them. Watering is the major oxygen delivery mechanism as it pushes out old air and pulls in fresh air. So either your soil is not aerated well enough or likely a root disease.

I go equal parts soil mix, perlite, coir, and castings as my base mix, never get that overwatered look.

How’d you make out? I too have been searching like crazy for mites based on symptoms.
I’m growing Critical Mass in coco peat commercial soil I grabbed at a grow shop. 1500 watt equivalent led hung 3 or 4 feet above canopy in a spare shower I completely bleached, cleaned and lined with reflective insulation rolls. Just stopped supplementing with t5 sidelighting. Temps have been between 77-83 and are drifting lower as winter approaches but I won’t let her below 62. RH is a bit high around 70 and was even higher a few weeks ago.
She’s been topped once at 3rd node with a failry even split off. I had just repotted, watered, and waited till dry. Next water was with the tea I make using worm castings from my worm hut, small amount of fish emulsion and molasses. I gave her a foliar spray of the tea also. She hasn’t minded this regimen and has been healthy up till now.
New growth is suddenly weird, blunted tips, twisted and shiny. Some leaves have holes in them and some are chewed in half and holding on by the center vein.
I search like crazy with a loupe, I tried the shake em over paper thing and can not find a single mite. I see a lot of weird stuff but none of it is moving.
I have flushed real good and I sprayed em once with Castile soap, peppermint oil, eucalyptus oil mix and another time with Castile soap, lavender oil and lemon oil after a few days.
Today I noticed root tips peeking out of the pot’s drain holes.
She hasn’t been drinking as much and is still pretty wet from the flush.
Still growing In height but barely putting out any new leaves, just weird blunted claws and thin pointy, twists.

Did I over nute with the tea after potting into hot mix? The emulsion I put in my tea is just enough for the microbes. Maybe too much still?
Is it already root bound even though it just got potted?
Are there really bugs just too hard to see? I feel like I’m crazy staring at specs of dirt and little bumps and hairs on the leaves.

I’ll post pictures
