Bringing my plant inside

Hello all,

As the plant on my patio grows bigger, I grow paranoid and I am going to bring the plant inside. This is my first palnt and I'd like some help and advice from the members of the forum. The plant is 5 weeks old and has been on my patio all it's life. Here are my questions:

 Can anyone identify this plant from the pictures below?
 Is it male or female, can you tell from the picture?
 Is my coffee can big enough?
 The plants been getting 14 hours of sun every day and is 5 weeks old and about 8 inches tall. What should my indoor light cycle be?
 When should I induce flowering? should I use 12/12 to start flowering?

I setup a grow box in my closet with lights and a fan.
Any and all comments are appreciated. :peace:

Erik

Hi...I can't identify the plant exactly, but I can tell you it appears to be a Indica dominant hybrid that is very healthy. I'm not sure if it is showing it's gender yet - can't tell from those pictures. You definately should consider switching into at least a 3 gallon container from the coffee can. Your indoor light cycle should be the same unless your ready to switch to 12/12. The 12/12 cycle is what starts flowering. It makes the plant think fall is coming. You can flower whenever YOU want to, but remember the plant will double in size. If it's 8 inches now it will be 16 to 24 inches when it's done if you started now. The more you let it grow the more you'll get in the end if it's a female, but if space is an issue you should closely monitor the height.

Good luck Its looking good ... I'd transplant it to a bigger pot...

Thank's for the help. I'm leaving it outside for awhile longer. I've decided to hold off on flowering for a little while longer. I think I'll cover it with a garbage can at i dunno... lets say 7:00pm every day....and uncover at 7:00am?? I just cut the top off, and the two branches on either side of the top and put it in a bigger pot. How's it look??? it's almost 6 weeks old now. The seed was a random freebie I got from a seed bank when I ordered thai x skunk. So... it's probably a quality plant. The Thai x skunk is out in the country and doing well with fish guts as fertilizer.
