As much as I love all the amazing fixtures, I think it's time for what we love even more - the results!

Flower day 30

I slowly decreased 5000k by 10w each week and bumped the 2700k by 15w. This weekend I unplugged the 5000k and 2700k is up to 175w.

Super excited. These things staaaank.

Beautiful plants sir. Nice seeing these grown in sips as well, will enjoy looking back on this as my future grows will ideally be done in very similar fashion to what you have going.Look forward to seeing the end results and hope it all goes smoothly for you.

I'm sure there are different variables at play, but any thoughts so far on this spectrum as compared to other spectrums you used in the past?

thanks! the SIPS have worked out pretty well. That soil was reammended and didn't have quite the punch I was looking for, but topped it off w fresh EWC a few times and fed it BuildABloom thru the res every other time I topped it off.

as for spectrum I can't say for sure, since so much of this grow was new (first time growing this White Runtz cut). but I can say the plants are super happy! interested to see what results I get if I just leave both channels going at 1/2 strength to boost the efficacy a bit.

definitely going to build a larger version of this fixture for a 4x4.

Looking healthy all the way to the end! My mates Vesta/auto grow with the warm white finish looked a bit more ragged but maybe a bit more bulk. Coco though not sips/soil
Thanks Rocket! This strain isn't the biggest yielder but the buds are rock hard so I might get suprised on weight. I never went higher than 175W either. tent is a 2x3 so just under 30w sf. I know when talking in the past you recommended w Vestas to go for @ 35 to make up for the lower lm/w rating. So maybe can squeeze out a little more weight next round if I push them a little harder too. Time will tell!

Day 60. Thinking these are about to get the chop. Could leave them another week but done enough for me, 50/50 clear milky and only a touch of amber. Going out of town soon and want to have them dry before I leave so most likely coming down in next day or two.

looks delicious and quite far.

just hope youre not going to change some on your setup and go ahead with your research.
definitely going to keep going with this fixture without a doubt. I may go to a larger size tent to use a 1m square one I got off Amazon.. which would mean needing a slightly larger footprint. also have more runtz going in my 4x4 now. but in the interest of science I will consider doing another run of the same clone in this tent but using the mixed spectrum so we can compare results.

so @cobshopgrow unfortunately that White Runtz did not pass the smoke test. it was strong but the terps were meh. no one liked it. ran it 2x myself and a friend ran it as well. we renamed it (F)Runtz and I chucked the mom and my clones yesterday.

I just got the tent flipped again last night w some SourOG Tangie. will see how this one does.

ah sh...
sorry to hear, but i can understand , if the terps arent good its senseless.
i bet you can get some very nice genetics basically when you can get clones on every corner
so the hunt for some good stuff shouldnt be too hard for you, good luck.

yup exactly. that was actually a cut I purchased. have another one from same vendor that is killer, that Runtz one just didn't hit.

Luckily I've got plenty of beans to keep hunting thru and a few keepers of some strains to keep me busy thru the winter.
