BRF Tek - Mushrooms Pinning in Jar. Birth or wait?

The jar is not fully colonized. Here's a pic:

wait, the cake is not fully colonized.

Wait 5 - 7 days AFTER the outside of the cake appears to be colonized so it can fully colonize the inner bits. Waiting longer won't hurt it.

I can't wait to get back to growing mushrooms. I need them badly

Amazing. They are the most active cakes out of the 9 that I spawned. Two cakes are on their second flush and I am dunking the third one tonight for it's second flush. Pretty nice quality, too. I've only tried them once because I've been sampling my other strains but I had a great trip off of 20 grams wet the first time around. Very giggly and overall positive mood the whole time.

I am done with cakes after this, though. Moving onto grains and bulk grows. Just yesterday I noc'd up 6 1 quart grain jars, two of them with this strain. I'll keep ya posted on how that goes.

Cakes were fun but I'm ready for a bigger challenge...and bigger flushes!

Pins only happen where the light hits it. Try to keep them in complete dark until everything is fully colonized.
