Breeding Your Own Strain...

How difficult is it really? I always see/hear people saying don't because you may weaken the genepool, it'd be hard to stabilize it, or just leave it to those trained, etc. But every now and then, I'll come on here and see someone who has bred their own strain, and it looks great.
I ask because there are 2 or 3 breeds and would love to bring together as one. I would think I would just cross those that exhibit traits I would like, then backcross with other plants within the same mix of three that further exhibit those traits.... however, I am a complete newb and would love to hear of other's facts/experiences on this....

wtf... U take a male plant and female plant and grow them together and att the end the female will have 100000000000 seeds in it. The male produces pollen wich pregnate the female, = seeds. white widow male plant pollen on a white rhino female will equal what? yup white widow/whit rhino

this is nothow to create your own breed, there is a lot more to it then groing a male and femaletogether to produce seeds.
