Breeding GG4's

over a year ago I got a 5 pack from regular gg4's from surebred seeds off strainly. Got 1 male, collected pollen. I just pollenated my 2.5 weeks into flower gg4's from seeds that I created by pollenating my first 3 girls from seed. not sure what the technical name for these are in their stages. Can anyone elaborate. I have an idea but I would like to make sure.

M X F = BX1's

BX1's = ? F2 or something?

Hey guys I am posting this more to keep track for my own personal. Don't go so hard on me LOL but I would like to know.

Thanks, I should say if the pollen is still viable there will be F2's. Been the freezer. I had the pollen in little 2in Tupperware containers with rice. I opened it up and let thaw for 2 hrs. I did selective breeding, where I only applied the pollen to 1 branch per plant with a very small paint brush. I then covered each branch with paper bags and stapled them closed as possible. I will take them off after 3-4 days.

F1. First generation
F2. Second generation or cubing' =1bx
F3. Third generation or squaring = 2bx
The 3rd - 5th backcross you start seeing uniformity and stability in the offspring.. after the 5th backcross you can call the cross an actual strain because it will be true breeding.. if you are using hybrids already and trying to stabilize your going to have to run alot of generations and select the traits you want and go from there.. but its almost impossible to stabilize.. it can be done as long as they're not polyhybrids
