I need to wireup a new room. 6x 1000w (110v)
Im not changing out all my ballasts and dont plan on needing to use 220 for anything else so I want to keep this all 110v at the plug.
So assuming 54Amps for the lights. another 10amps for fans. AC is on its own circut already so thats not an issue. Toss in another 10amps for pumps, UV lights, etc gives me 74amps.
I can run 220 to the new box in the room and then break it out to 110 there.
my questions are how to run the actual sockets.
Do they make a 54-60amp timer? so I can run all the lights off one timer?
How much amperage can be run through one wall socket? like do I need 3-6 sockets for the lights or will one extension cord with 6 dongles work? im assuming youd need a bigass extension cord... and even then since most houses are 15-20amp circuts I doubt the socket would last long...
Should I put in a 20amp breaker per 2 lights?
