I’m up in the Kawartha, we have town water here and you can literally smell the chlorine sometimes. I’ve never treated it and I’ve never had a problem. I am growing in soil though.

I've used tap water in Victoria, Vancouver, Calgary, and Edmonton to grow weed just fine. Vic/Vancouver water was really soft, Calgary and Edmonton water are pretty hard. Doesn't seem to effect much. Tap water runs at 140ppm where I am now. I think it was closer to 30ppm in Victoria.

That’s awesome to know. So there’s no need to leave my water out for 24 hours pre feed or water. I can go from tap to plants. With ph adjust tho right. Or do u have any tips for a newbie

Sorry, was out to dinner. I'm a little further out on the Niagara peninsula now, but I used to grow in Hamilton, Ontario, and we never had any problems. I actually checked to see if there was a difference between rain water and tap water for plants. I use mycorrhizae and everyone was going on and on how chlorine would kill them. Nope. No difference in yields or rootballs. A buddy of mine who was on here before he passed did the same thing. No difference. His father used to work for Environment Canada in the Rivers Research division, and he said there would be no problem using tap water for plants.

Fun fact, chlorine is an essential micronutrient for plants. Don't believe me? Google it
