I had to go today to talk to the MMAR insurance guy. The whole thing was filled with negatively and very bad JUJU vibe. There was very few peeps when I was there. LP Reps all over the place, just walked by with my head hung low, I felt nauseous just being there...but I was on a personal mission.
I waded thru enemy territory to the very back of the Expo to find Scott Wilkins (he testified for us in the Allard trial), who is indeed now offering full MMAR homeowners insurance policies coast-to-coast....much to the dismay of all the LP's there.
So, I am now in the process of filing the application with his office, and by this time next week, I will be fully insured for total loss...even if it's MMJ related. No inspections, just full pics of all MMJ growing rooms within the dwelling, and electrical panel. The only thing that may be of issue for some peeps, is you must have a centrally monitored alarm system installed (I already have one). Even cheap internet/smartphone monitored units will suffice.
Scott feels very confident that MMPR patients will be allowed to grow, and will also offering policies for those as well. He wouldn't say why he felt so confident, but reading between the lines...IMO, he has some inside info. That's all I went for and was stoked that I was successful. I left Scott's booth and headed straight out, only stopping to sign a petition to allow dispensaries to be included in the MMPR, and donated $200 to a fundraiser set up to help those who were caught up in the raids on Thurs.
So to sum up if you want full cover MMAR insurance contact Scott's Wilkin's assistant...

I have no affiliation with Scott or his office, I'm not getting a kickback...I just told him I'd pass the word around for those who want proper coverage...and why wouldn't you?.
When I have the new MMJ policy in hand, I'll post up a scan to show its legit.

I have a few friends who went, and they said it was a ghost town of corporate suits babbling about how horrible marijuana is. Seriously. No TRUE medical cannabis patients, no true medical conversation, and not even any true dispensaries. Just some sellout ones who want to sell LP product.
Lift is propped up by the LPees just like everything else. You REALLY think it's a coincidence the LPs lobbied for dispensaries to be arrested and then 2 DAYS before the Lift Expo Project Claudia started?
They even had RCMP crawling around the Expo area two days before setting up surveillance equipment. Everyone who went is on tape. Expect more arrests soon. Lift the Honey Pot.

Has anyone heard who won Lifts weed competition . I believe 20 people were picked as judges and received a box of various cannabis and cannabis products. If the LPs had samples in these boxes, for the judges, they would be breaking the law - trafficking (like the dispensaries were alleged to be doing). Maybe HC should pull the LPs licences - some of the judges cannabis could get in to the hands of children.
