I don't know about that but I must be something to you as you felt the need to reply to my insignificant post with another insignificant post.

I made a post in a thread about Boveda humidity packs stating that I don't use them in response to another post that mentioned they were the latest craze.

My post had some relevance while yours what just an insult. Does insulting people make you feel cool? If it does then lets hear some more. I want you to feel cool. I care about you.
Fucking troll! Only 3 messages from his ass,1 of them being an insult to you. So at least a third of his posts is useless, insult. He must not be very intelligent!

If you need to re-moisturize weed then it wasn't done right in the first place. I'd rather smoke dry weed than moisturized. I believe they're just silica packs so no worse than what most farmers are spraying on their plants and drenching into the roots.

There's silica packs in bags of beef jerky.

If you dry it a bit low and let the packs hydrate the bud you get perfect stable humidity without burping and worrying about mold. It just makes the process easy and keeps the humidity level dead on.

It works two ways. If the bud is too dry it moistens it. If the bud is too wet it drys it. It’s like a blumat for curing and storing herb.

Are there any dangerous chemicals in boveda humidity packs and do you suggest putting 1 in mason jar when curing?
i use boveda pack they are work real good, but before you put one in your jar, you need to cure your bud down to whatever humidity you like smoking your bud first in jar, than put the boveda pack in and it won't take the smell away, but if you put the boveda pack in your bud jar before bringing your humidty down than it will take the smell or start smelling fun, i like to bring my humidity down to 62% first than put in the boveda pack and everything works finds, i hope this help you, but boveda really do works:eyesmoke::bigjoint:

Read the thread before making a statement like that. The msds was posted on it. There potassium nitrate 40% potassium citrate 20%.

I over-dried 4 of my plants when I harvested them this year. I cleaned up my grow and took my humidity meter down. (Another mistake) When I checked my plants after 5 days they were so brittle I about cried. I checked the humidity in the room 42% crap! I jarred the bud with Boveda 62 and after two weeks it slowly climbed from mid forties and is holding at around 60 in each jar. It doesnt feel near as brittle anymore. The hay smell disappeared after the first week and its starting to smell better and better everyday. Just small burps rolling the jar around for 15-20 seconds and placing it back in the cabinet upside down, next day right-side up, next day upside down. I think they saved my cure and helped me overcome another mistake.

Here’s a crazy idea …. How about pretending those humidity packs dont exist - monitor stored RH with hygrometer - learn the basics of dry / cure .

If getting a little dry … toss in a god damn fan leaf reseal - stabilize it / reburp as needed. No god damn wet paper towels/ orange peels / tortillas or other goofy “ shortcuts “ …. If you able to maintain a stable ( ish ) RH what is the point of those packs ?

62s give you the sticky icky buds - 58s are the ones that SHOULD be used. Again if you consume a couple weeks after harvest / jar - save your money.

They were originally designed for cigar / tobacco storage. The only “ container “ i find is superior to jars are C Vault.

Dry proper / Step down the RH manually to desired range not rocket science.
Or just use the magic packs. I’m not sure why you’re so angry about it. I’ve never had a bud not dry out a little to a lot over time in any container. I prefer the 62% for the bulk storage and for rolling joints. My stash jars dry out from the constant opening, so 62% is a nice starting point.

When I was at Cannacon somebody flat out asked the Boveda reps the question if they steal the terps or not? & the sales rep admitted to the whole group of people around the booth, that they DO NOT preserve the terps.
So, I asked the Grove bag reps if they steal the terps like boveda packs & he said they have a special ‘Terp lock’ tech that help prevents the degradation of the terps, so Grove bags is what you want if your trying to preserve the terps.

Boveda has had terp lock technology for a few years now. The feedback that I’m given over and over again is that my buds are reeking up their lives.

I’ve never tried either of them. All I can tell you is what I heard from the sales rep cannacon just a few months ago. I got a bunch of samples of the Grove bags i’ve been meaning to use, I just haven’t got around to it yet.

Just my non scientific, simple opinion; those bitches steal aroma.

I had a Boveda Pack in with some Banana Durban autoflower buds I wasn't smoking right away. After a couple months, i decided to cut open the Boveda just to see a) what's in it, and b) if there was any truth to them possibly "robbing terps", and sure as shit, the gel inside the pack had more banana aroma than inside the jar! The buds themselves didn't seem to burn as nicely as the buds from the jar w/o a Boveda in it.

How on Earth did people ever store cannabis before the existence of Boveda. Must have been all boof before 2008.

You used a single pack and had a bad experience. I've used over a hundred big packs over the course of years and have had great results. Weird.
