Hello my fellow marijuana enthusiast,
I took my first major step in my first small time personal grow operation. I thought about spending 100 dollars on a darkroom grow tent for a while when my buddy suggest I go to Goodwill and look for an armoire and low and behold I found one that I had to have immediately. It is roughly 3 feet wide by almost 2 feet deep and it blends with my place perfectly. I live in a single apartment so stealth is a priority. It has three holds in the back panel which at first I thought were a negative characteristic but I thought a little harder. Now that I have these holes I don't have to cut some for the electrical outlets. Now i can just tape or seal up the holes and the wires running through it.
I plan to order a 150 watt HPS and a Carbon filter/Inline fan combo for about 280. This will be enough for two mature plants (which is all I will need). With the bottom area I might get a little creative and make a cloning area. It sure does have some potential. The cabinet is also right by the A/C vent so I will def be able to keep it cool.
I definitely have some light leak issues which is where you guys come in. I have some leaks at the hinges and at joint where the two doors meet. Any suggestions for me at all? Anything from light leaks to construction. Mylar or Paint?
Thanks
