*"[NEVER USED LEDS BEFORE]"*Bought it through Amazon, found a great deal on bestVA 2000 watt double chip led full spectrum grow light. Seen it on Amazon for cheap, and bought it on a whim. Figured if all else fails I can still use it for veg. My question is, I know you get what you paid for, and that's why I'm saving up for a "kind" k5 xl750. 850$!!!
But will this 2000 watt led be enough to start my girls with. My grow space is a tent, 5×5×7. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanced and keep growing them happy plants

Yeah it' probably be ok to use as a veg light. Do not buy the kind xl750. That is overpriced garbage. Look at cobs or samsung strips or bridgelux strips.

You would be better off going with a HPS for flower if you don't have decent LED's by then. Have you checked out HLG? They have some really nice QB's and their prices are fair.

Thank you for the input, and I didn't know that about "kind Leds" I was looking at that one specifically, because it described itself as being the equivalent of a 800 watt hps, but I rarely believe anything until I see it. Samsung strips, cobs, or bridgelux. I'm going to have to look into those. Thanks again for the input. [KEEP GROWING]

Well your bestva 2000w pulls only 390w from the wall so id say they are probably close to the equivalent of a 400w hps at most.. for a 4x4 its very small given many uses 1000w hps for that type of space. Ill agree with people above use it for veg only.. I dont know how much you paid but would certainly look around for some more lights like QB, COB or strips

That PCB looks just like the one in my 3 yr old King1200-guess they turbocharged it to 2kw now...
It will grow a couple of smaller plants or a single in a 2.5x2.5 space-not great but it will work.

Thanks for all the input everyone. I'm thinking from what I've read so far is that I've acquired myself a veg light. I may supplement it with an led strip, but I am going to continue the hunt for a proper bloom set-up. The "kingcob", (the name makes me laugh),480 professional series doesnt seem like a bad option, and ive also found some interesting choices on HLG. YouTube would have you believe that the " Black dog leds (phytomax) whatever is the best option, but I can't afford 1500$ to 2400$ for a freaking light. Just gonna keep shopping around till I hit something. Thanks again

Not sure if I overpaid or not, but I got it for an even 200.

Yes .... Yes ... Yes ...
Kind led is crap .. For the money of one of those you can reach out to Timber grow Lights , Horticulture Lighting Group and others and get a killer grow light that will give you bud that you deserve. Timber has great ready to hang COB lights ....

I don't know what you paid for your bestiva , but you cannot go by Amazon reviews .
Stick with lurking this forum and see ACTUAL GROWS using various lights .

No Chinese " COBS " ------- get Veros / Citizen / Cree based lights.

It wasn't much, 200$ even. And I agree, you can't trust Amazon product descriptions. So i definitely accuired a semi-decent veg light,... ( I hope)
