Bottom leaves turning brown and crispy seedlings

Temp of grow room stays around 80, water pH is 7.1, I have 6 300 watt leds(125-160 real watt, so 850+ total, real watts of led), and 115 watts of 6500k cfl, they are positioned almost 30 inches above the seedlings so I doubt that its light stress. Please any help would be great. Is it possible for fungus gnats to do this? Because I have some but I didn't know they could destroy plants like this. I know they look overwatered also but that's not what'd causing these leaves to turn brown and hard and I even let the cups dry because I thought it was maybe over watering but letting the cups dry out more made them wilt even worse, I think I just suck at growing lol.

What soil is that they are in?

About 2/3 soil I got from outside (its good fertile soil) and 1/3 light potting mix with dolomite lime and no nutrients.

IDK. It's gonna be harder for these guys to diagnose with outdoor soil being used, versus a known bag of soil or a known mix.

how often do you water? have you fed anything? if your soils drying out properly you shouldnt see fungus gnats

also i water with 6.5-6.8 ph water in soil

and i never raise cfls higher than 6 inches from the canopy

i dont use leds so i cant comment on the optimum range for those but your plants arent stretching

taking soil from outside was a bad idea. fox farm ocean forest is pretty reliable.

you should have added some extra perlite to the mix as well to get some air to the root zone and to help prevent overwatering.

It's old damage. I thought u had burned it lightly but u said u hadn't fertilized it. So I'm going with a hot soil (nutes in the mix) Its not gnat damage. Your plant it pretty stressed. If it were mine I'd repot it into a better mix. Light, fertile, moist and well drained. Your plant is young and with a better soil mix it will take off like a rocket. Repot into a one gallon pot then into its final home, usually 3 or 5 gallon.

Using the soil from the yard is why the plants are now fucked. Make sure you use the best grade soil/coco next grow.
