Bottom Buds Dying off.....

So I have been searching, and cannot find an answer or a cure.

Running some DWC plants, and had a hot spell for a few days, over 85 in the room, only problem that really occurred.

As for everything else, the nutrient and PH have been pretty stable; but I have noticed throughout my plants, I am almost 2 weeks into flowering btw, that my lowest buds have started to die, starting with the bud leafs turning purplish and then to brown and then the whole bud begins to die. This is not affecting any of the upper buds, or any leafs or really any stems.

From what I can tell, the affected one's are really not moving upwards. Hard to say though.

Do note that the bottom buds are reciving very very little light, if any.

Any Ideas? I can give more information or pictures if needed. Appreciate any advice or knowedge.

The best way I can describe it is the two main bud leafs begin to, I guess you could say wilt, turning first purple in colar to a dead brown, and from there the whole bud begins to.. you could say dry up and eventually turn brown. Only lower buds. I have yet to see anything above halfway up on the plant have this happen to.

Its almost like the plant is self pruning itself... yet its hard to say. These are pretty large plants by the way. With the bucket over six feet. Fairly bushy too. I have no reason to believe its anything other than heat stress or self pruning, but this doesn't seem right. Never seen anything like this.

Yeah yeah but I don't think the connection is there. There are various leaves turning yellow and falling off all over the place, but that's just the absence of nitrogen, unless its something I don't know.

The bud leaves are different though, they don't turn yellow. Purple to dead.

ok first things first. IM a first time grower btw. Im not using any special light, or any thing. I just put some dirt in a bottle and 4 pot seeds, put it in the window and let the cycle start. the first week went by fine, nothing wrong, the plant sprouted from the dirt looking rather good. the next week plant got bigger, no changes but the size and amount of leaves. by the 3rd week the bottom-bottom leaves started to turn light green, then shrivel and turn yellow. This is probably not good obviously. After a day or 2 after they had become yellow and shriveled, i just clipped them off. I waited and watched for a few days and nothing happened, just more height growth. In about the middle of the 4th week, a hole appeared in the next bracket of leaves from the previously cut leaves, and other small blackish spots appeared as well. I didnt take any action on this. MY plants at the start of its 5th week of growth, and the lower leaves i previously mentioned have begun to turn yellow at the tips, and the rest of the leaves look to be, limping downward?, is the best way to describe it. I need help ASAP. I have pictures of the entire growth that i have described, and will provide them if necessary. PLz help me with my problem, PLz PLz plz!!!

7 gallon buckets with beautiful root systems that fill the majority of the bucket. Clean white roots. PH between 5.5-5.8. PPM at 900. Running Canna Aqua Flora.

If other leaves are dieing its a nutrient problem. Its not a lack of nitrogen, plants barely use any during flowering, usually if anything its lack of phospherus. Nitrogen deficiencies show up as the outsides of the leaf will turn slightly yellow but the middle will still be green. If the whole leaf turns, its a different problem. I would flush your plants so they can recover.

Could it be mold? Have you busted open any of the buds that are starting to "turn", and see if they looked healthy inside?
