I'm not sure Its even worth it at this point. You'll only be able to use it a few times and that won't really make a big difference. I use it, but its one of those supplements you need to use throughout the entire grow.

It is absolutely worth it at this point in the grow, he will see his buds swell up big time

I have to agree with Tom here. Use it from Veg all the way through flower until you begin your flush. Stuff is great especially when you are using RO water.

It is necessary when using RO water because it removes all the cal and mag from your tap water

I don't use RO, seems odd to spend money to take something out just to spend money put it back in

I don't have a choice. My tapwater is so hard it's ridiculous. Plus some tapwater can have differing levels of Cal/Mag. Some water is all Cal and very little Mag. With R/O water and Cal-Mag I can control exactly what my plants are getting.:leaf:

If your plant isn't telling you to use it don't.Using cal-mag closer towards the end of flower tends to affect flavor.

I just went and typed up basically this same response and my IE crashed when I submitted my post.

That is exactly why people use RO water. You have better control over the ratios of nutrients you are giving your plants.

My water from the tap is high, over 400PPM, with RODI I can get it down under 5ppm. This gives me a clean palette to start with and I can add the correct nutrients in the correct amounts to my water.

I don't wait for my plant to tell me it needs it. By that time they will be showing serious deficiencies. I have learned from experience and am more proactive now. I discontinue about a week or two before harvest and I've not had any problems with it affecting the taste. :weed:
