Quick question? They both kinda do the same thing right? Im trying to get the same high-P boost about a month into flower but organically as possible. Im not against it but im trying to stay organic as possible...im using fox farm liquid trio and molasses in 5 gal smartpots

I am using the same thing as you and I cant see where it could do me any better by switching.

Fox farm trio isn't organic, so you may as well use the mg if you want. The trio should cover u though. I use them on my indo.

Bone meal takes a long time to break down to be available for the plants roots to be able to absorb it. Most bloom inhancers, specifically sold for pot, act much quicker and would be a better choice. There are organic blends available, i.e. Bontanicare and others, if that's your worry. Also, bone meal is an animal by-product and not a good choice for plants. Search for Kyle Kushman's High Times article on why not to use animal leftovers on plants.

Mg and Ca should be available if you used dolomitic lime added in the beginning of the grow. It should always be used, as it also helps maintain the proper pH in the soil.

Bone meal is best used as a pre mix for your soil, not as a top dressing or tea. (I'm assuming that you've already mixed your soil and planted.)

Well I am guessing here that with 2 months of flower that some would break down and b absorbed. Definately not enough on its own, but a supplamental source. Could be wrong but I add it to my teas and topdressings. I also had it in my soil mix from many a month ago! This is all imho of course:leaf:

Yea i know its not organic 100% but its salt index rating is low enough to keep the microbes alive (or else they wouldn't add any) and that's what i meant by organic as possible...molasses helps too. My bad for not specifying lol

My goal was to use soluble bone meal as a root drench 4 weeks in for a late flower boost in addition to the fox farm tiger and big bloom just the way you would use the Fox Farm cha ching (only cheaper) ...i was also debating using MG bloom booster in lieu of but im trying to stay away from the 100% chemical ferts (i only mention MG as more of a comparison as to the boost im looking for)

Yea its been growing for 4 months now in soil lol thanks for the tip. Im just thinking and looking for alternatives to MG bloom booster or ff cha ching that have the same kick

757 has some good experience so if you're just looking for a supplement, you can just sprinkle a little top dressing. I wouldn't fuck with the bloom booster if you're already using FF's line.

I think you should just keep going with what you have. No reason to change anything.

Thanks bro i might consider it after some more research . Might just experiment with my clone and leave the mothers...

This is the stuff i could get npk 3-15-0 and directions for use...its $7.99

" Established Plants: Sprinkle 2 tablespoons for a 6" container, or 8 tablespoons for a 12" container. Scratch into the soil gently, and cover with a thin layer of organic mulch when possible. Water thoroughly."
