Just started another run after some super silver haze.

Seeds: bog
Strain: Blue Kush
Amount: 3
Medium: fox farm ocean forest
Nutes: general organic pack (going to use mammoth p included this round.)
Light: 2 3 COB array both running watts give or take 10w 250w. 3500k. Only using a single light ATM as they just poked out of the soil. 2nd light will be added in a week or 2.
Space: 2x4x8 tent, with exhaust fan and 2 more circulating air fans and the bottom for intake and one at the top for the tops of the plant.

I am wanting to learn how to use other nutes. After this grow I want to switch it up and honestly I do not know jack about nutrients. Would anyone be willing to give me some advice or what would be a good stepping stone?

I'm not expert or advanced grower but I was readin that ssh is very tricky to do? But it turned out killer! Here is a few shots of it.

Just like to toss out that Growmau5 videos inspired me to spend money on LED starting out and I don't regret it! I watched and watched over and over his videos and if I ever become rich he gunna design my grow space! But that's only if I get rich :/ lol

Anyways I'll keep this thread updated from time to time.

Also decided to hook up my GoPro up to do a time elapsed video of the whole grow. Hopefully I can post it somewhere it's not quite legal to do what I want here. Soon though Florida will get along with the others. I wish I could help support in getting more veterans off pills and on to herbal medicine instead. Its why I want to grow, but I am in the wrong place. I have had friends kill themselves, get shot at, and have cheating wives and lost possession and viewing rights of their children. IF I can help just one person, JUST ONE single person and help reduce suicide than its hard to explain how I would feel. I guess it would be giving back to the community I once help protect.

Im new as well and just started my first indoor grow (will post pics later on). As for nutrients there a lot of different brands to use. I have used Botanicare last season for my outdoor grow last season. Its a pretty decent and easy to use nute line. This run i might try out Roots Organic. As for soil im not the biggest fan of the fox farm due to them having a problem with gnats so i would rather not risk using that soil but thats just me and i doubt alot of people have had problems with FF. Have you ever thought about brewing some compost tea for your ladies next run ? Anyways, you buds looks pretty nice in the pictures. How much did you end up yielding after curing ?

I have not had bugs yet! Some how I am lucky! *knock on wood* As far making compost tea I do not have the area or time to make it. I got 237g :)

I love your choice of genetics, BNOG is my HERO. you will not go wrong with the Blue Kush. It seems you are growing inj dirt. Have you read a copy of BOG's Bonanza of Green? If not you can get ba copy here ->https://www.amazon.com/s?ie=UTF8&page=1&rh=n:283155,p_27:Bushy Old Grower
I studied under BOG and his style will bring out your best in your genetics. I also studied Soma as well, but his book is unavailable right now. I have both of the4ir books and dialog with BOG over the years. If you are growing soil; based go with BOG and his BOG. well written great pictures and Pat the Flying Nun is great too, his wife. enjoy. I grow in Hydro, so I can not really help you. Check out brownguy420 on youtube he has some great organic soils he uses, along with realstyles.

I decided to try and make some canabutter and I must say......... 10g in 6oz of coconut butter is awesome. It onset about 45 to a hour in. I didn't even wake up and smoke a bowl like I always do. But my apt still smells

2nd week! They be growing!!! Will be topping just 1 time I guess and then flipping over on the 4th week.

I'm currently running Cyco nutes and Ive got this run and next run with it, then Im going to try to get away from it, I feel like I lose my flavors in the cure. Ive been implementing Key of Life nutes in with my feedings too, I really like Key of Life. But what I was gonna say was Cyco kinda took some learning curves out of the picture and your able to learn what each bottle does. Now, if you know the purpose of each bottle, Cyco is a pain in the ass. But you can also customize your feeding schedule more.

I'm hoping by the end of the summer though.....I'd like to do a side by side. Maybe with one more Cyco run, but I want to run nuted plants next to a Bokashi soil build. My problem now is I don't have time to pay attention to my bokashi and my last 4 buckets went bad lol.

I wish I knew way more than I do, but for now I have to stick to like stupid basic stuff. This is also my first time on this strain, felt like I should of just done one seed instead. I feel like I got Super silver haze ok, I was getting tired of growin that so I flipped spectrum. Anyways today I am noticing bad burning, looks like 3rd row 1st pic and well bottom leaves usually die off so im not worried there. but it only happened after I feed them. Last feed was over 2 weeks ago at half values.

If your last feed was 2 weeks ago, your girls are probably lacking in a lot of things. do you PH your water? I like feeding every other watering, but when growing from seed, I will wait for the plant to tell me when they need to start nutes....usually a couple of weeks in and i'll start them on a half dosage of nutes. Growing a strain more than once helps so much too,,,ive been growing my current strain for 2 years now. Its like seeing an old friend again at this point lol

Thanks for the thread. Have to agree, BOGs Blue Kush is a great strain, an easy grow. I'm a BOG follower from way back...OG. Learned alot from him. Also, a follower of GrowMau5....COBs ROCK!!! Pics of my DIY 1K COB rig and driver panel. Controlled by a Zigbee Wifi LED Controller (Greengenes on YT). Works like a charm. Last pic is Blue Kush under 400watts.
