Blue tips

Out of the baker's dozen I put out this year, half are still alive and half are deer food so I was really worried when I started noticing that my two most mature plants (bagseed sativa-dominant) were developing light blue splotches at the tips of the older and larger fan leaves. They are a chalky blue color and over the past few days have grown to encompass the first 3/8in at the tips of the older fan leaves. New growth is a healthy bright green and the older leaves are a deep dark green. There is no sign of nute burn, they are fed with grow big and big bloom and the watering schedule depends on when/if it rains. They are outdoor of course and are in a 20/15/65 Perlite/Verm/Peat mix.

I'll try to get pictures when I find my camera.

Thanks

depending on how blue I would not be worried. And I have heard that small bits of bar soap hung from the branches will keep deer away from the plants

It's like a deep carolina blue but it looks whitish and chalky too. I know it's hard with no pics but I'll try to fix that before too long.
