Strain: Blue Gelato 41 - Barney's Farm

Growth: cut, 3.5l pot, 2 weeks of growing cycle, 65 days of flowering

Nutes: Plagron alga grow, vita race, power roots, alga bloom, green sensation

Yield: +/- 25g

Bag Appeal: Dense chunky nugs covered with resin. Large flowers that turns purple at the top.

Smell: Pungent creamy sugary sour lime.

Taste: strong, long lasting, earthy/resin mixed with a delicious and dominant lime sour cream.

The High: strong hybrid, cerebral couchlock high. Hits fast and lasts long

Comments: One of my favs. Easy to grow, resistant to mold, great resin production. Definitely a keeper if you like pungent sour lemon-like taste and strong high.

I hope my girls make it ..let alone look as such...

I knew my situation of heat and I was prepared but the AC is now out and I'm hoping for survival until the new AC arrives (when I don't know).

I'm also in the midst of converting to an RDWC to support the temperatures of the roots better if it is a fast fix versus awaiting the new Portable AC unit.

i have zero knowledge with hydroponic system, couldn't help ! :dunce:
But the strain is really resistant. The original plant of the cut had almost one quarter of roots destroyed during pot transplantation ; just a few days later she was back on the rails :)

LOL..as you read in my post... Mine did as well.

I do love it. I am moving shortly after the harvest so I can't clone it. I have 1 more bean of it and I hope it goes well and I'll clone it.

Nice Looking Flower! I have given a couple BG41 for a spin. Very tasty buds and yes very dense, sticky nuggs. Here's a couple pics.

They taste like a blueberry fart out of a skunk, that was in the neighbor garden eating their lavender plants  it's a very unique smell! I still have some outdoor drying :weed:
aha nice :) this sweet-n-sour lime might be like sour blueberries, but there's definitely something lemony going on with mine beside that, which makes me call it "lime". I would really like to taste some key lime pie to make a comparison !

I must say though, that 2 beans out of the Barneys Farm 5pack of BG41 were two different phenotype. 1 was super tall, the other was a little bit shorter but much stockier, and was 2 weeks behind the taller fem bean. I grew 2 outside in 10 gallon planters. In my medditeraian climate. And NO THEY are not resistant to WPM or Boytritis. Indoors might be a different story though.

The stockier one. These pics were Back at around the first of September. I lost half of each to bud rot the 1st week of Oct . :wall:

ah man, too bad for the mold :/ well i had only one bean, no doubt it was the short phenotype. One of the most resistant strains to mold during the session, pretty weird !
Hope you won't get mold loss next time !
