Blue dragon Cfl Closet Grow

I guess to start off this grow journal I will run through my inventory.
The list is as follows for the time being.

- 8 CFL's , 4 daylight, and 4 soft white
- General Hydroponics Flora Nova Veg And Bloom
- Electric Timer
- Small tower like electric fan
-Brer Rabbit Unsulphered Molasses
-Epsom Salt

I don't have to worry about ventilation so much cause I have huge cracks by the hinges of my door where I have everything set up. I definently have the fan oscilating to keep the air moving around. But Yeah check out some pics and tell me whats up any suggestions would be helpful. I don't plan on growing just one cause I'm getting some more clones and Im also getting a 150 watt or 250 watt HPS. I've grown with CFLs before and I found that they were perfect for veg and ok for budding. Any way check it out and and any suggestions or pointers would be grest.

Been busy in the closet the pas t few days so I haven't been updating.

Since the last post I cropped the plant a few days ago and I got three colas instead of two which is pretty cool. I was shooting for four but I guess I didn't do it right. Anyway I boosted the nutes and stared giving it a little more iron due to a little iron deficiency but everything is back on track.

I decided to try another experiment yesterday by starting this cloning method I came upon and was actually told about. Basically you take the cutting off the plant and set it water out of direct light for 2 weeks or so. I saw this guys grow journal and he had roots in 7 days which is slow but It can bee worked with.

Anyway I'll keep you posted on how that goes. I've got some pictures check it out. Any suggestions or tips are appreciated. Peace out.

Oh by the way Im growing Blue Dream not Blue Dragon. :peace:

How's it going.

Just a brief update the clones that I put into the water are showing little tiny roots so the water cloning method indeed works. I did add a little bit of root stimulator to the water on all three of the cuttings so maybe that also has something to do with it.

The mother plant is dong just fine about to go feed her actually. I cropped almost every single branch on the plant so it should be a while before the cola's pop out but there is new growth in the area's i cut. I'll probably be starting an outdoor grow in the mid of may so I'll probably be adding that. Until next time peace. :peace:

So far looking good ..ur plants green &| healthy I also did some what of tha water cloning experiment with a male plant I chopped I jus added a bit of soil in tha water &| It seems to be working fine for my second attempt at cloning ...good look 2 ya bro

Oh cool man. I should try adding soil into the water. Did your clones root well on their own or did you use rooting hormone in the soil?

Hey whats up. I just learned how to supercrop today and I did it to a few of my branches. Im stoked about it cause now I can start my clones and veg em to a decent size before I switch the lights and the cycle. Lookin' good man. I'm hopein' to pick up a clone from OC or PIM on tuesday befor I go to work. I'll hook you up with a clone. I'm thinkin; Chem dawg, Chocolate Chunk, Purple Urkle or Mango. But who knows what will be there. You should post a picture of the newest clone you cut.

I grow outdoors and got 3 Bagseed, ones a baby the other 2 are about your super veging one's size....so ill be following your journal man....nice smokery :bigjoint:

Hey thanks dude. It's kinda wierd about that cloning thing because I heard from three different viable sources that if you leave some cuttings in water for like three weeks it'll start to get rootage. One of those sources is a good friend and fellow grower. Basically I put a some water in a coffee mug cause it's not see through. The amount of water varies for each cutting you take so keep that in mind. Then get some cling wrap and wrap the cup up in and poke a hole in he top. Place your cutting in no the hole so the stem is submerged. Place it in your windowsill and wait. Hopefully you get roots man. :peace:

Quick update my Blue Dream mother is doing fine. I supercropped her and she stayed the way that I wanted her to. I also found me a Malawi Waui seed in a bag i picked up in the store so I;m germing that and I'm putting it outside so I'll have some new ppics of that coming soon.

I keep forgetting to take pictures of my hermie that me and my buddy are growing but keep posted on that. Here's a recent pic of my girl. Happy Smoking. :peace:

Hey wassup. Been a while since the last post. I got those pictures of that hermie I have so check that out. Those clones that have been hangin out in the water have started to develop roots. I'll get pics of those up soon I just want to wait till the roots are a little bigger. A buddy of mine told me to add suger into the water and upon thinking about it I figured that potassium helps root stimulation and I decided to test it on two of the four clones.

My mother plant is doing great. The worst is a tiny Mg deficiency but that will be fixed when I feed her again. Im starting a Malawi Wowie seed that Im going to move outside. Other then that here is some pics check em out and any suggestions are always welcome. :peace:

Yeah so I got the Clone tent, Rapid rooters,and dip and grow. I cloned 9 Purple Diesle and 8 Bumby. I think I might be able to get about 5 or so off the Amnesia Lemon. :hump:
