Hi everyone at rollitup I'm new on here but I have been reading a lot of people's advice on other threads and it has been very useful. I'm posting here today because I have my blue cheese plants at start of week 7 flowering today 12/02/2016 20160212_132453.jpg 20160212_132438.jpg 20160212_132415.jpg 20160212_132359.jpg 20160212_132326.jpg 20160212_132311.jpg 20160212_132152.jpg 20160212_132144.jpg 20160212_132453.jpg 20160212_132438.jpg 20160212_132415.jpg 20160212_132359.jpg 20160212_132326.jpg 20160212_132311.jpg 20160212_132152.jpg 20160212_132144.jpg 20160212_132453.jpg 20160212_132438.jpg 20160212_132453.jpg 20160212_132438.jpg 20160212_132415.jpg 20160212_132359.jpg 20160212_132326.jpg 20160212_132311.jpg 20160212_132152.jpg 20160212_132144.jpg supposed to be barneys farm but not to sure as I'm also new to growing but these plants was looking absolutely fantastic through vegging stage and they look even better now but should the buds be looking bigger around this time as I know it's a good 9-10 week strain or shall I not worry and just sit back and watch the buds burst as people have told me week 6 to week 8 the buds explode but any advice would be very much appreciated here's some pictures too thanks 20160212_132453.jpg 20160212_132438.jpg 20160212_132453.jpg 20160212_132438.jpg in advance everyone.

I'd personally be concerned they should be bigger and looks like they may be suffering with heat stress. What setup are you using?

To be honest I'm not fully sure on the set up I know it's hydroponics no soil used at all and lime pebbles I think they hold a lot of nutes and cocoa balls to give the roots air gaps to go through because they don't hold water, the roots have shot out of bottom of the pots and all over they tray they are everywhere but there is no root rot and they are under a 600 watt light 3 plants 1 light but it covers them nicely but I did veg them for 5 week and they was big and I have had to tie them down away from the light and I'm feeding canna products aqua flores A and aqua flores B. At this stage I'm putting 60 ml of each to 10 litres of water but I also feed them slightly warm tap water to prevent salt build ups keep nutes balanced at around 700-800ppm and ph at 7.0a got good fresh air circulation couple of the big leaves have started to go yellow and die off but only 4 leafs in total are doing this and thanks for the fast reply

Thanks Whitebb and what can I do to solve that just give them a bit less nutes?
What are you feeding? What are temps?

I would be more worried about temps. Although I see some slight N fox, it is not very bad. I would dial it back just a hair.

They look good. Get temps under control first.

Canna products aqua flores A and aqua flores B that's the only nutes they get 60 ml of each to 10 litres of water at this stage but as its start of week 7 im going to gradually drop it down as of the next feed in a couple of days and by week 8 i will be flushing them, and i feed them water regularly to prevent salt build up and I think Temp in day is between 20°c and 30°c not to sure about night

Surprised no one has caught your Ph. It shouldn't be that high. Should be much lower then 7. Bring it down to around 6. It will help but your pretty far in to see a very noticeable difference.

And stop using warm water. Warm water holds much less oxygen and can cause issues. As well as slower growth. Fix that and adjust your Ph for next time and you'll see a difference for sure

Thanks for that and the warm water is not straight from the tap it's in a 70l reservoir with a 50w heat bar and air balls what you find in fish tanks and stuff to give it plenty of oxygen

Buds do look a bit small mate. as getgrowingson said your PH is too high. I PH between 6.0 and 6.5 and never have any problems. Looking nice and frosty though, enjoy the smoke.

Happy Growing

7.0 ph way high for hydro. You want it more 5.8, 6.0 tops. Yeah i think they should be bigger at week 7 of a 10 week flowering sativa. But they should be getting their swell on like now so they need the P and K to do so. You have a good light and using good nutes plus keeping it simple. Its your fir5at grow so dont stress it just learn and gain experience. Large tasty nugs come with experience and knowing your setup and plants. I did really bad my first grow and my second but each time i learned more and results got better. Im still learning, never stops. Some tips. Top you plants at least once. I like indica dom strains they yeild more and are shorter and flower faster. Switch to coco as your medium. Dont veg for so long since plants will at least double in size with stretch. Use smart pot grow bags if not already. Finally keep it up and read read read on growing.
