I posted this question in another thread but I want some individualized attention from the community!

I'm growing in ffhf soil and using the flora trio and some kelp additive. What are some good bloom boosters/additives to ensure healthy and plentiful yields?

There's no way to ensure a healthy yield, but there's definitely products that can help...Big bud, Overdrive and Bud factor X from Advanced Nutrients are good ones.
 
Who said you don't need nutes in the bloom phase? Where did I say that? My position that I would argue is that one doesn't need "bloom boosters." The extra P isn't needed at all.

The only reason they are sold is because ignorant people who haven't done any scientific research think they need them. A capitalist would be a fool not to profit off others stupidity. Waste your money if you want to and it makes you feel good but facts are facts.

It would be beneficial to watch the video instead of just LOLing everything and looking silly.

Ok bloom booster no you don't need them....And that video is old I've watched it many times...And do you think "bloom boosters" only consist of pk boosters? The type of bloom boosters I use cover a wide range of things and not just some basic pk boost.

If you're using a nutrient line where you need to add more and more bottles into the mix, you're helping the owner of that company help keep up a mistress and fur coats on their wife. If it doesn't provide everything a plant needs, what good is it?

Cannabis relies of N, K, and calcium more than P. I run Foliage Pro start to finish, and have never looked back.

And nothing in my lineup is a typical potassium-phosphorus augmentation. Instead, it’s a complete, unique feeding of ideal nutrients, vitamins and other substances that cause plants to redouble their flower production in bloom phase.
 
Yeah I'm gonna use a bloom booster when it's time. I just wanna know what a good product to combine with the flora trio
 
Bloom nutes, .eg. A+B base Hydro bloom nutrients are almost exactly the same as the Grow A+B Hydro nutrients and the only difference is the Nitrogen ratio, which Cannabis needs more than most think in flowering and that the grow has usually no P and very little K, so, anyone with a bit of sense uses Grow all the way through bloom but just adds PK13/14 as a supplement to combat this.

Bloom nutes are a rip off.

Bud ignitor (weeks 1 and 2) followed by bug bud (weeks 2-4) followed by overdrive (weeks 4-7). And be sure to use a nice carb sweetner throughout like botanicaire sweet raw.

well it's a long story, but to shorten it I'll tell ya it started a long time ago when farmers figured out that they needed to add more P because it was leeched in soil (outdoors) then came the fad of container gardening in the 50's and the fert companies bottled the same ferts the farmers were usin for the folks growin in pots. The leeching thing was about depth of soil which of course is absent on containers. then there is this email from the CEO of DynaGro being honest go figure.

You are correct. We market a high P (Liquid Bloom) as some "believe" they need this. As you have noted, our Foliage-Pro does a great job start to finish. However, it is simpler to give the market what they think they need than to try to reeducate it. There is some evidence to believe that low N helps to convince a plant to stop its vegetative growth and move into its reproductive phase (flowering), but environmental factors are probably more important. P is typically 5th or 6th in order of importance of the six macronutrients. There is little scientific justification for higher P formulas, but marketing does come into play for the vast majority of users who lack any real understanding of plant nutritional requirements. Therefore, the market is flooded with a plethora of snake oil products that provide little benefit and can actually do harm. For example, one exhibitor at a hydroponic trade show had a calcium supplement with 2% calcium derived from calcium chloride. Can you guess what continued application of 2% chloride would do to plants?'\
