Bloom Booster vs Bloom Nutrient

There are varying opinions on bloom boosting supplements none of which make deciding whether to use one any easier. My question.......

What is the difference between using a bloom supplement vs doubling my bloom nutrient (flora series)?

bloom boosters contain minimal nitrogen as a rule, bloom nutes contain medium amounts of nitrogen as a rule.

if you use too much nitrogen at the wrong time of flowering i feel it can have a negative effect on yield and quality.

i use a high nitrogen formula in coco so when i am at the point where i feel the plants want a higher e.c i will choose to only raise the base nutes slightly, then i add a bloom booster as to not increase the nitrogen levels to a detrimental level.

you are right to be cautious with bloom boosters because too much p and k is actually worse than too much n in my opinion. flavour is everything to me.
