Blood Red Moon Planting/Harvest Cycle Opportunity

Tonight's your chance, if you can pick a strain that could be ready for harvest on Oct. 8, you could have weed sewn and reaped under a blood red moon. Not sure what it means but it sure sounds cool!

One more chance next year with a 4/4 start and 9/28 finish.

I'm supposed to start a couple seeds on 4/20 for a friend but will see if he is up for starting tonight.

Well I don't know what it means exactly but I did plant a Kosher Kush and a Holy Grail under the light of the blood red moon!

Who knows, maybe the HG can be harvested under next blood red moon on Oct. 8. Don't think the KK will be ready.

lol.. Well according to the news, and certain pastors, it is a sign from God, or bible prophecy being fulfilled. IDK about all that myself. But on the other hand I wouldn't say its not out of the question either. ;) great idea though. lol However if the world does end, wonder if we could still toke on our strain we harvested under the blood moon  5436.gif

I recall my grandparents mentioning the same, although they called the "head & butt" of the season. Something about planting your crops at those certain times results in a better overall grow season.. ;) Here's a good read if you ever would like to check it out. http://www.almanac.com/content/planting-moons-phase-gardening-calendar
When I was a boy many years ago, my granny always set her garden by the moon phase. She called it "going by the signs" and it must work, cause she always had the best garden around.

It goes much deeper than just planting. There are very old log tobacco barns in my region that are still as straight and tall as they were 150 years ago, while others have fell in or rotted or both. Why I asked my grandparents? They claimed that if the trees used to construct the barn were cut when the signs (moon phase) were wrong, the wood would rot and if the corner rocks weren't set by the signs, they would sink. They didn't build foundations back in those days, they used large rocks at each corner for support. If one sunk after the building was up, well, let's say that was bad.

lol. 4 sure. Well they must have not cut in the right moons round here, being cause every damn barn I've seen is ate all to hell by wood worms, or termites, of fallen over. lol
