Bleaching DOG

Sup ma peeps. Im in need of some ganja assistance. My first grow! Shit im stoked. Moving on.

I got two plants atm. One purple kush (kannabia) and a Black d.o.g (Humboldt). Im having some problems with the dog. I do think its just the light being to close making the tops bleach but im not sure. Both plants are the same hight, gets the same nuts, same light distance and same soil.

PH: 5.8
Light: 600w HPS dual spectrum (cooltube)
Soil: Organic soil with perlite
Daytemps: 24C
Nighttemp: 14-18C

The PK is a monster, im so happy with it. Never had any problems. Reacts well to LST, supercrop and trimming. The dog on the other hand seems to tolerate less beating. Usually drooping after trimming and such. It also seems abit pale on the green color but when i give more nitrogen nuts its tips get burned.

Got some photos for yall. Stay medicated

Ya those sure look like hot spots. Do you have a oscillating fan on the canopy?
Yes brother. I actually have two. I dont think heat is an issue. Doing the hand over plant test and cant say its hot :/

I also find it odd that the PK doesnt get any even though it has the same hight and same distance to the light

5.8 pH on an Organic Soil grow is a bit low which may be causing you uptake issues. I would research the ideal pH for an Organic Soil grow and go from there. You may want to adjust your light a smidge too...10" doesn't seem that much...at least that's what she said...haha. Good luck friend.

Thanks buddy. Ill try the above. You think the pale green color of da dog is caused by ass PH? Some leafs start to yellow at the bottom of the the plant already

It could be from crappy pH, but it's hard to say. You have to keep in mind, your plants, by the look of them, are at the peak part of their lives (2-4 weeks in flower). If they aren't getting what they need from your feed, they'll seek it out from themselves, which may explain the yellowing leaves. For sure though, get your pH squared away and I think you'll be in a better place. Until then, I wouldn't go goofing with the plants too much or you may just exasperate your issues.

^agree. pH 6.5 for soil for best results; ..talk about your "organic soil", brand name or homemade??

Its some shitty skandinavian soil bought from my local gardenshop. Ill be rolling with biobizz allmix after this. I think the soil PH was something like 5.2 fresh out of the sack.

I think its both. Definitely needs a bloom feed but the bleached spots are not deficiency. Light is too close.
Ill bloom the fuck out of it later. Hope that does the trick. How long would yall recon it takes until I see some recovery?

If you raise the light and feed it recovery should be quick.
