Blacklights

Im sure this is probably everywhere in this forum but i cant seem to find anything....what are the effects of a standard black light if any on the growing process? recomended?:confused::joint:



also what about neon lights....like from a store sign?:joint:
 
No positive effect from the blacklight, and I don't think the Neon will do you much good either.
 
Neon lights are to inefficient at producing light. You are better off buying/using fluorescent bulbs. Blacklights would be useful if there was no phosphor coating inside to convert UVB light into visable light, but then they would be hazardous to our health.

make those waves a little shorter and you could use it in an ozone generator!
 
i wonder if putting a blacklight under my buds when they're drying will change anything??? Maybe it'll be a cool experiment to try
 
i have a foot and a half 15 watt blacklight i want to know if i can grow 1 plant and how would i keep it in flowering stage
