black tubing from htg supply, weird smell?

Okay this is a setup question I guess.

I use the tubing from htg supply, black 1/2 inch.

I recently started noticing an off smell coming off the water exiting the tubing. My water in the res smells normal...

No real problems from it, but I figured I'd ask if anyone has this issue?

Its a drain to waste setup

Did u flush the tubing before using it first?

I find that most of the tubing I've used in the past has a distinct smell, not pleasant buy any stretch of the imagination.
