I just did, and for my 4x4 tent his light is £380
Just to clarify, that light covers a 4x4 in veg but only a 3x3 to 1mx1m in flower.
But its a nice light. Just rather say that than you misunderstand.

For what its worth, it will crush two of those black star lights. They are called 180w lights but they are not. They are 60x 3w diodes. They don't list the true wattage but I can be sure they are not 180w.

The h350 isnt designed for a 4x4. It would lack light in the edges and you need more wattage.

Check out our quantum board section. We will have them in stock in a couple of weeks.

Good quality leds are not cheap. But you get what you pay for.
Thanks, I appreciate that. I'm a little short on time as will be going abroad soon, which is where the lights will be going. May have to delay my purchase but it seems that at least, or at last I'm at the right place for the right kit.

Thanks, I will have to have another look but it has to be led light as I am off grid solar and on a tight budget.
About 30 watts per square foot is good with strips, COBs or boards. You want efficiency for off grid solar, so strips are a very good choice. What size and voltage is your system?

Run lights during daylight hours to work the batteries less, it will improve battery life and reduce the efficiency loss of the charge/discharge cycle. Efficiency could be further improved by running the lights with a DC-DC buck or boost converter rather than a LED driver powered by an inverter.

I also have ideas and tested running Bridgelux EB Gen-2 strips directly from solar panels. Their operating voltage is a good match to panels...... no efficiency losses to a charge controller, inverter and LED driver!
