Black light ballast??

HAD a four foot black light... was stepped on...

I have tubes that fit. and they work.. But the Label on the once black light powersource warns not to use anything other than black light..

SAFE to use?

My bad, let me clarify so I dont get smart ass remarks.

The ballast and the bulb match up in requirements and output. It says only use "our black light." makes me think they are just trying to get me to BUY another lamp from THEM.

Im pretty sure ballasts are ballasts as long as they operate within their dimensions... Black light comes from bulb not ballast.. ooorrr Im making a dumb as correlation..

If the energy needs and the connectors match than it will work just fine, keep in mind that it could void any warranty though.
