Anybody have any experience with the black dog phytomax? I've recently obtained a brand new 600 for an absolutely amazing price. Thinking about putting it in a 4x4 tent.

Considering this light is normally 1500, I'd say 450 is pretty amazing. Anyone actually ever grow with it? And it runs at approximately 600 watts.

BlackDog is way overpriced. Using Epistar chips.
They work but are very overpriced. Mars are just as good if you prefer low end led.
COBS are your best bet. PLC by far has the best fixtures.

Well so far my blackdog is an absolute beast, never seen growth like this. Just switched to 12/12, not much longer!

Good lights, but still way overprices for using cheap chips. For future refrence if your going to buy a panel at full price go Mars and if you can afford it go COB.
BlackDog work well, just there arebetter options at those price points. Good to see you got a deal. Ya you should see some amazing growth due to good PAR.

Not true. COBS are best due to highest PAR per watt.
