Black dog 200, eBay vs amazon

hello all, new to this site wondering how useful it is. Anyways, I'm trying to purchase a black dog 200 even though I'm a new grower it seems to best fit my 2.6' x 2.6 x 5.25' space because you can put the light closer to your plants and it covers 2.5 x 2.5 in veg. Anyways.

I'm want to buy this light from eBay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Dog-LED-PhytoMAX-200W-Grow-Light-w-Free-Method-Sevens-Light-Hangers-/282035027475?hash=item41aa98fe13:g:xXQAAOSwSgJXNnOw
but am wondering if this cheaper product ($535) (and glasses/hangers) is some sort of knock off or has a voided warranty policy.

Therefore, I am more inclined to purchase this product from amazon directly from black dogs account:
https://www.amazon.com/Black-Dog-LED-PhytoMAX-Lights/dp/B01G62XHB4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1484067235&sr=8-1&keywords=black+dog+200
(629$$)

ANY ADVICE IS WELCOME EVEN IF IT DOESNT ANSWER MY QUESTION

The eBay seller is a hydro shop and the item is listed as new. I highly doubt it's a knock off. Good question about the warranty. It would be wise to double check with Black dog about how they handle warranty issues when units are bought from a reseller.

If you are open to other suggestions, for your space and budget, I would recommend the NextLight Mini as an option. But Black dogs do grow some nice buds from what I've seen in the past.

Good luck

Was gowing to recommend nextlight mini but thought it was a little underpowered for 2.6 x 2.6

Same with black dog.

Yeah probably better suited for a true 2x2 but I think could still handle a little bigger space. It's the 5' height that made me think I the low profile Mini would be a good fit.

You could save a lot more money & electricity, and grow a pound or near a pound with DIY'ing only 250w of COB.
I've never seen anyone grow a pound with 250w. Not saying it can't be done but it isn't the norm as far as I'm aware. Please share some links or grower names to where you've seen this on the regular. Much appreciated.

A pound is pretty typical with 250w of COBs.

Ohh got it, is a COB like a brand of lighting you can buy (on Amazon)? Or do you literally just glue some LED's on a board? I'm willing to do some research on it, been doing a lot lately and found out black dogs seems to be the best as far as LED's go but always willing to do more research.

Not on Amazon (Do not buy a Roleandro.)

COBs were invented to replace HID like HPS and Metal Halide in highbay/lowbay industrial and factory applications. Same output power, less than half the consumption.

Don't buy hyped up overpriced bullshit like Black Dog. If it doesn't use Cree, Bridgelux Vero, or Citizen emitters, it's proprietary and the info on it is biased.

Anyone think my plants look like they are sharing 241w of light?
