When growing in places like holland, england, scotland wales ect outdoors, how would one go about the flowering process, reason being is that you wont get a full 12 hours light and 12 dark,

With out manually putting the plant in darkness will it eventually flower?

Dont panic! They dont need 12/12 exactly, thats just the way indoor guys do it. Mine are in Wales and in the greenhouse, starting to flower now and should be done during october.

How you think marijuana grew before people came up with indoor growing tecniques?!?
The switch from 18/6 to 12/12 is just done to replicate the changing of seasons from summer to autumn. It's too late to start now but basically you want to plant in early May, then it will naturally go through fast vegetative stage during long summer hours, then, as autumn comes, your plants will notice the shortening of daylight and begin the flowering stage. So nature does the work for you!!
I'm currently growing in Ireland and as the summer comes to an end, my plants have just begun to flower.
I'm sorry to say I think you're going to have to wait till next year if you want to grow outdoors.

Yep it's a totally natural process. It'll happen when it happens.

It seems as though we've started a bit of a Western Europe thread here! I'm growing outdoors in the UK too. Hey Greenhousegrower you said your babies have already started to flower and you're in Ireland? How has your grow been going? How long into veg are they and when did they start flower? Any pics?

well ive got a lil trick up my sleve lol, got a 'frend' growing a 'tomato' plant outdoors about 3 or 4 weeks old looking really nice starting to fill out nicely, few of the leaves are bigger then my hand,( bigger then my 'frends indoor grow' few months back) so i he can expect for nature to do its job and it will flower... so taking cuttings of it withing the next week or 2 and have them outdoor would be an unwise idea ? he would like to keep the strain with out buying seeds again and without growing indoors would this be possable?

I just ended my forceflowering, it was almost 2 weeks, while i did it, but its too pain in the ass, and the damn trail-this also i presume leaded the new trail to my plot, what was not done by me!!!
Let the mother nature take care of the plant-i live in pretty much the same condition as u all guys, shitty european weathers at the start of the flowering :(
