can somebody help me figure all this stuff out.
I've managed to get a few albums like this but a lot of what I'm trying to download just sits there and doesn't load. What is the whole "seeding" thing and the "peers" that i have and what not. I really wish I was more computer literate.

Seeding is when people that have 100% of the file are sharing. Peers are also sharing but they do not have the whole file- they just share what they currently have. The more seeds and peers are active on any given torrent, the faster your download will be.

alright cool. does it help if i'm uploading also? everyonce and a while it'll say i'm uploading but I don't know anything specifically that i did to upload anything.

Well i never upload at more than 10kbps while I'm downloading. Then I usually seed everything I download for 24-48 hours to do my part in the sharing of info. and not just leeching.

I'm not sure how to seed. what can I do to do my part and seed some?

Leave the program that you use to download torrents open.. Then you will seed.
