Of course Uncle Sam will be wanting his share of the tax revenue generated in states that legalize. AK will be taxing $50 an ounce at the state level. Of course in Alaska one can avoid this by growing their own. Hope the Feds don't try to take that privilege away.

Whether it passes or not, the mere fact that this bill ISN'T political suicide says a lot about the state of marijuana in the US. It can only get better from here.
