Bigger Buds

Just switched from a 250 w CFL to a 600W HPS for flowering, I'm one month in and there doesn't seem to be a massive difference, I presumed the light would give me much bigger Buds, is this not the case?

If not, what stunts bud growth? I'm quite possibly over watering

at one month there isnt much bud growth the last 2 weeks they put on the most weight and there will be a big difference with that 600w

Have you heard about a method were you leave the plants in darkness for 72 hours before harvest, it's supposed to pack on more weight, any truth to it?

not weight but crystal production, work well with white strains not shure about others
