BIG grinder/BIG grip ?

So I've been using this tiny crapper for a few years and I'm through with the pos. (for years I just crumbled with my fingers, but I've got nerve damage in a few these days.) It's too small, has no gripping surfaces, and the screen pops out. My buddy had an older wooden version, patina and all, and it had tiny brass spikes instead of teeth.....never seen another like it. It was roughly the size of a large drink coaster.
Any recommendations? The larger/sturdier the better.
