Big Fans showing discoloration

Hello everybody, this website has been more than helpful for my first grow as I have started some pretty successful threads.

I am currently on my first grow and my plants are just 4 or 5 days under a month old and 3 weeks into veg, my avatar shows a recent pic. This is a tent grow using a 2x2 ebb and flow system with fox farm organic hydro nutes and they are under a t5 fluorescent 20k lumen 6500k light. I water my plants every 6 hours, keep the ph from 5.6 to 5.8.

So far this grow has gone close to flawless, but sometimes I see fans usually older fans that are the biggest ones coming directly out of the stem, theres a name for them I just cant remember. Fact is usually I cut off the really old ones close to the bottom of the plant because they start to lose their color an just look like shit so Ive been told they are going to die anyways

The problem I am facing is some of the newer fan leaves like 3 nodes down from the top of the plant are showing signs of discoloration, they arent curling or tacoing or anything like that, they are just showing alot of brown patches of these litte spots and the texture of the leaf starts to look like its withering away. There are like 3 or 4 big fan leaves showing this discoloration and I cant figure out what it is as I just noticed it a few hours ago.

I have a decent camera on my android but I dont think it captures the definition and color of the leaves as well as it does the texture.

P.S one of the pics is of another plant where Im getting some yellow leaves on the newer leaves and was hoping somebody could tell me what thats about cause its the only plant out of 4 that is showing those kind of yellow leaves.

Every time I look at those yellow tips it makes me '-_- lol. You should be able to tell from the texture of the fans with the brown looking burns that they have a problem and Im afraid of it getting worse.

flush with phed water back off the nutes i use 60 to 75 % of what the bottle suggest hope those are femenized or you with never get the roots untangled

Temps are perfect id say, its an indoor grow and I keep it around 70 to 75 in my room and sense they are under a fluorescent Im guessing its around the same for the plants because its not even warm in that tent and I got a fan changing the air very frequently.

O and the light is like a foot from the tops of the plants because I need the light to be distributedto all the plants but I have another fluorescent on the way which is the same thing I got and I can finish vegging these plants with the proper amount of light. The leaves with the issues are leaves that should be getting plenty of light.

I leave my lights on 24 hours a day and I have done so sense the first week of veg if that means anything.

also water every 4hrs as they grow they use more water and you may run dryish i cycle every 4hrs in veg and 3hrs in bloom i run a turbo garden very similar set up hope some of this helps they look good other than the discoloration

imo they need some dark time 4 to 6 hrs the roots do there thing at "night" also epsom salt is your friend if you arent adding any start i use 1tsp per 5 gal

Im not going to take these plants out of that system as I have no flowering tent so ima just swap out the light with my 600w hps light.

Now when you say back off the nutes are u saying I should use smaller amounts or just run plain ph'd water for like a week? should I buy florakleen for a flush?

word, Ive herd of the epson salt technique but was to scared to try it out lol being as how thats some super salty water I didnt want to expose my plants to but hey Ill do some research on it.

O yeah and my plants are feminized seeds from Nirvana ( they rock ) hopefully get no hermies >.<

flush with the florakleen phed run a few cycles over the course of a couple hours empty then refill with a 10 to 20% reduced mix of what you had to begin with they will starve if you run just water for that lenght of time i understand you wont transplant what im saying if one is a male leaving roots behind is really really bad news

Heres 2 more pics, The first one is the under side of the leaf and so you can better see its condition and the second pic is the way the leaf is starting to bend and curl.

Ahhhh I c, well in that case Im glad hermies dont spread pollen so I can just let it grow IF the roots are tangled. And I understand im not suppost to let the plants go without nutes for more than a few cycles which is 4 hours now I changed the times on my timer to try your water cycle.

with fox farm you way just want to get a cal mag mix i use gh 3 part plenty of cal not enough mag so i get away with just the epsom
